Every year almost $1 Billion is spent on pumpkins in the US around Halloween. A vast majority of these end up being thrown away. We strive to recover pumpkins for food.

This year, several farms are again supporting donation of pumpkins after the Halloween season and Village Harvest is again helping us reach out to volunteers. If you’d like to help with harvesting pumpkins, please sign up for the following events

Nov 1st Harvest in Portola Valley at Webb Ranch

In previous years, we worked with our amazing partner farms around the Bay Area to distribute through Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. We donated over 25000 lbs of delicious pumpkins. Thanks to Village Harvest, WebbRanch, Bianchi Flowers and Ecumenical Hunger Program for supporting this effort!
